Urvi Patel, MPH

Urvi Patel serves as the Senior Director of Quality Improvement at the American Health
Care Association (AHCA). She is passionate about supporting long term care facilities
in their journey to become high performing healthcare organizations who deliver value
to their residents/patients using the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Improvement.
She also focuses her efforts on helping providers increase staff engagement and
stability. She is a member of the Leadership Identification and Development committee
at the association where is focuses on helping identify and grow diverse leaders for the
association. Outside her work with quality improvement and workforce, she leads a
coalition of stakeholders focused on COVID-19 vaccine and therapeutics access in long
term care.

Urvi received her Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Michigan.
