Heather started her career in long term care as a nursing aide. Heather worked in Activities, Dietary and Social Services before making the decision to become an Administrator.

When not working, Heather volunteers as a support group leader for the Alzheimer’s Association, fund raising for Chapel Hill House- a charity that provides respite/vacation stays for families dealing with childhood cancer, and as a guardian and bus leader for Honor Flight. Heather has been on over 30 flights with Honor Flight.
