Since 2018, AltumView has developed the privacy-preserving Sentinare fall detection and activity sensor for senior care and remote patient monitoring, which was a CES 2021 Innovation Awards Honoree, and is one of only three fall detection devices selected by Amazon for its Alexa Together emergency service, with positive reviews from Amazon customers.
The Sentinare sensor uses AI technology to monitor the activity of people, collect activity statistics, and notify caregivers when emergencies such as falls are detected. To protect privacy, only stick figure animations are transmitted instead of videos.
