The National Institute on Aging (NIA) is the lead federal agency addressing research and innovation to promote healthy aging and to address Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Each year, NIA provides more than $140M in non-dilutive funding through the SBIR and STTR programs to start-ups for the research and development of evidence-based treatments and products that improve the health and wellbeing of older adults. This year, NIA is attending the AHCA/NCAL Convention with three NIA-funded start-ups developing innovative products for older adults. Stop by the NIA booth to learn more about the nation's federal research agency on aging and Alzheimer's disease and the latest trends in evidence-based innovations for aging.
