Tammy Kelly PT, LNHA, RAC-CT, RAC-CTA currently holds the position of corporate Director of RaI & Clinical Reimbursement for Commonwealth Care of Roanoke, Inc. in Roanoke, Virginia. Past LTC experience includes employment as Clinical Program Manager for Accelerated Care Plus serving more than 50 facilities in Virginia and West Virginia providing training on topics and programs for SNF rehabilitation to improve outcomes through the use of specialized modalities and advanced therapy technology. She was self-employed, serving as a long term care and rehab consultant from 2006 through 2011 as an associate to Chiles Healthcare Consulting, LLC for clients in Virginia and several other states. She served as Director of Rehabilitation Services, then Vice President of Performance Initiatives at the largest long term care nursing facility in Virginia from 1998-2006. She has been licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator since 2003 and licensed as a physical therapist from 1986 to the present with experience in a variety of settings providing care to Private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries including hospital, outpatient, nursing facilities, and home health settings. She has been RAC-CT MDS certified since 2008 and has presented on a variety of topics at Virginia Health Care Association conferences in the past and holds current memberships in AANAC, American and Virginia Physical Therapy Associations, and the American Health Care Association/Virginia Health Care Association. In addition, she has served as a Senior Examiner and Team leader for the American Health Care Association Silver Level National Quality Awards from 2009 to the present.
