Michael Sciacca is a license physical therapist with over 20 years of both clinical and management experience working in various post-acute care settings. He joined Zimmet Healthcare Services Group, LLC (“ZHSG”) in 2007 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for the firm. Michael’s extensive clinical and operational experience as well expertise in healthcare payment systems has enabled him to leverage this knowledge to help improve the financial performance of his clients. He is also responsible for a wide range of consulting services including, but not limited to, healthcare provider operational analysis, system/process evaluations, reimbursement auditing, and strategic planning. He specializes in strategy development and financial analysis for SNFs operating under acuity-based and emerging “risk-based” payment models. Michael has developed training programs on various reimbursement and compliance related issues and has presented at both State and National conferences. Additionally, Michael has managed the day-to-day operations of several ancillary companies ZHSG has initiated in the past 5 years.
Michael earned his Masters of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in 2000 and Masters of Healthcare Administration from Hofstra University in 2004.
