Delivering Solutions 23, the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo, is right around the corner!

Now is the time to start preparing for your trip to the breathtaking city of Denver for Delivering Solutions 23- a premier networking opportunity for professionals in the long term care, post-acute, and assisted living communities to come together for educational sessions with the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.


Here are some important tips for traveling to the Mile High City of Denver, CO:

  1. Pack for Varying Temps- October in Denver ranges from highs in the mid-60s to lows in the mid-30s.
  2. Avoid Altitude Sickness- Drink Water, eat potassium-rich foods, don’t overexert yourself, and monitor your alcohol intake.
  3. Dress for the Sun- Denver is truly a mile high! Less water vapor in the air means there’s 25% less protection from the sun. The sun is strong: bring sunscreen and sunglasses for any time you plan to be outdoors. 
  4. View Tons of Public Art- Be sure to check out Blucifer at the airport,  the Big Blue Bear at the Convention Center, the Yearling at the library, & more!

Maximize your experience at the Convention & Expo Hall with these tips:

  1. Hydrate- Bring a water bottle to hydrate throughout the day. Accessible water stations are located throughout the Convention Center. Coffee and tea are available for purchase. 
  2. Bring Lots of Business Cards- With 4,000+ attendees and exhibitors, networking opportunities abound!
  3. Bring a Backpack or Tote- Keep all your belongings and purchases in your bag. Complimentary tote bags will NOT be provided.
  4. Pack Some Snacks- Lunch will be provided to attendees in the Expo Hall on Monday and Tuesday, and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served at the Mile High Jamboree.
